Station accounts are created by invitation. Guests never need one.

How it works
Four steps, and three of them are obvious.

Create the interview
Give it a title. That is the whole form. MicBridge generates a secure guest link the moment you save.

Your guest opens it in the browser they already have. No account, no download, no meeting ID to read out.

Talk and record
Everyone agrees to be recorded before recording starts. You see who is speaking, and nothing else.

Download the audio
Each voice arrives as its own track where your provider supports it, ready for the edit.
Why audio-only
Radio does not need a second face on screen.
Video conferencing spends most of its bandwidth, its battery and its attention on pictures nobody will broadcast. Dropping it leaves more of all three for the one thing that goes to air.
- A guest who is not on camera relaxes
- No lighting, no background, no checking their own face. People talk more freely when nobody is looking at them.
- Less to go wrong on a weak connection
- Audio survives a poor line long after video has given up. Fewer moving parts means fewer ways for a live segment to fail.
- Nothing for the guest to install
- The link opens in the browser they already have. No account, no app, no meeting ID read out over the phone.
- One screen, four controls
- Mute, leave, record, end. A presenter should not have to hunt for anything while a guest is waiting.
For your guest
They click a link and they are there.
The guest screen asks for a name, checks the microphone, and says plainly that the conversation will be recorded. Nothing starts until they agree. If their browser blocks the microphone, MicBridge tells them exactly which button to press to fix it.

Recording
A recording you can actually edit.
Recording runs on the server, not in anyone’s browser, so a guest closing a laptop lid does not take the audio with them. Where the configured provider supports it, each voice is kept as its own track — which is what makes a remote interview editable rather than merely listenable.
Nothing records without consent
Every participant present must have agreed before recording can start, and each agreement is stored with its timestamp.
Recordings are deleted on a schedule
Kept for 30 days by default, then removed from storage — not just hidden. Your administrator sets the period, and the deletion date is shown on every recording.
Security and privacy
We would rather tell you exactly what happens than call it military grade.
Audio in transit is encrypted
Live audio travels over WebRTC, which is encrypted end to end between each participant and the media service. Recording happens on that service, so MicBridge does not describe itself as end-to-end encrypted — that would not be true of a recorded call.
Recordings are private by default
Stored audio is never publicly readable. Downloads are served through short-lived signed links issued only to the host or an administrator, and a guest never gets access to the recording at all.
We collect very little
A guest gives a display name and nothing else. No guest account, no profile, no tracking. IP addresses are stored only as a one-way hash for rate limiting and the audit trail.
